Job summary

Saelens-Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled CNC Manufacturing Engineer to program, optimize, and improve CNC machining processes. This role advances from CNC programming into a broader engineering position with opportunities to influence manufacturability.

You will collaborate with design and engineering teams, train operators, and document procedures while staying current with new technologies and automation. A Bachelor's in mechanical/manufacturing engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

Experience in CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in CNC programming languages and software.
Solid understanding of machining processes, materials, and cutting tool selection.
Proficiency in using CAD software.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify CNC programs for machining operations.
Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
Evaluate and implement automation and robotic systems to meet project objectives.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to interpret technical drawings.
Train machine operators on CNC processes and document procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices.
