Job summary

Saelens-Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Milwaukee, WI to join our Engineering team and advance CNC machining programs. This on-site role focuses on programming, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to boost quality and productivity.

You will collaborate with design and quality teams, train operators, document procedures, and explore new robotics and automation options to keep us on the cutting edge of precision manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages and software.
• Knowledge of machining processes, materials and tooling.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Knowledge of robotic systems and automation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify CNC programs for machining operations.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure parts meet specs.
• Work with design teams to interpret drawings and specs.
• Train machine operators on CNC processes and setups.
• Document CNC programs and setup procedures; maintain records.
• Identify and implement new manufacturing technologies.
