Job summary

Danner Corporation in Pacific, WA seeks a Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Operations) to develop and optimize CNC programs, collaborate on CAD/CAM, and establish manufacturing methods and process sheets for multi-axis milling of composite parts.

The role requires strong CATIA V5 and GD&T skills, plus programming experience and the ability to work independently or in a team, contributing to continuous improvement and accurate cost estimations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required (experience may be considered in lieu degree).
• CNC machine operation and programming experience.
• 5-axis programming experience preferred.
• Experience with composite part production processes and ERP/MRP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, store and maintain CNC program files (CATIA V5).
• Create CNC programs for assigned jobs and develop manufacturing methods.
• Prepare process sheets and specify material requirements.
• Identify tooling requirements and order tooling as needed.
• Write instruction sheets and tool lists for 3- and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Train operators on CNC controls and tools.
• Coordinate with production schedulers to support on-time delivery.
• Support quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
