Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a Machine Operator B for the 3rd shift to set-up and run CNC and manual equipment, performing machining and inspection operations on various materials. The role is onsite and requires passing a technical interview, with wage at $32.77/hour.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling, operating multiple machines safely, and maintaining documentation and housekeeping in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Machine Trades, Machining, or Maintenance.
• GD&T knowledge is preferred (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC and manually controlled equipment to perform machining and inspection tasks.
• Selects tooling, fixturing, and feeds/speeds, and calculates dimensions as needed.
• Uses precision measuring equipment to machine and inspect parts and assemblies.
• Deburrs parts using all available methods.
• Maintains records and keeps workspace clean and safe.
