RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 3rd shift (12% premium) at 354 Lowell St, Andover, MA. You will develop the manufacturing process for 3D metal parts for radar programs, create fixtures, NC programs, inspection plans, and operator work instructions, and work with the Operations team to solve process issues.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience, knowledge of machining, GD&T, and Creo CAD/CAM software, plus US citizenship (DoD access).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of machining techniques, cutting tools, and CNC machine tool capabilities.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T).
• Active DoD Security Clearance preferred or required where applicable.

Aufgaben

• Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation including raw material definition, fixturing/tooling development, CNC programming, inspection planning, finishing requirements, and assembly instructions.
• Support process improvements using data analysis and application of best practices to improve process capability and decrease cost.
• Control and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi‑disciplined team.
• Self‑manage workload to support existing production, perform non‑recurring engineering work for new products, and drive improvement projects to completion.
