Job summary

Nidec Defense Group is seeking an experienced machinist to set up and operate CNC and manual lathes according to established procedures. You will read blueprints, select and adjust machinery, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
• Performs daily, weekly and monthly PMs and maintains equipment.
• Ability to read prints and measuring devices; work with lathe operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and Manual Lathes.
• Complete daily PMs as outlined.
• Comply with company quality and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
