• Documents and communicates actions in the internal electronic system.
• Confers with engineers and production to resolve machining problems.

Job Responsibilities

• Plans for each days machining by studying blueprints, engineering plans, and materials.
• Analyzes information and finds the best solutions to problems.
• Programs CNC mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points.
• Must be capable of reading and editing G-Code.
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations.
• Adhering to safety procedures and regulations to ensure safe operations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions in our internal electronic system.
• Confers with engineers, production, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
