Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation is seeking a skilled machinist to operate CNC and manual lathes, reading prints and setting up equipment to meet specifications. A high school diploma or GED is required, with apprenticeship or formal training and at least 5 years in the field preferred.

Responsibilities include daily PMs, safe operation, maintaining a clean work area and adhering to quality standards. Third shift in the United States may be required; teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints and diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.
• High School Diploma or GED required; machining certification preferred.
• Machining experience preferred; ability to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and Manual Lathes
• Complete daily PM's
• Comply with company quality and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly PM's as outlined
• Perform other duties as assigned
