Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support CNC machining and metal fabrication equipment. The role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize reliability and minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with Fanuc controls.
• Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, drives, and industrial automation systems.
• Computer proficiency for maintenance records and diagnostics.
• Experience supporting precision machining operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC and fabrication equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Troubleshoot production equipment to minimize downtime
• Maintain and repair CNC mills and lathes
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and machine improvements
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and maintenance documentation
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve machine reliability
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
