Job summary

Lee Industrial Contracting in Pontiac, Michigan, is seeking an skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC equipment and related systems. Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting CNC machine tools and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and related manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Install, replace, and maintain motors, drives, bearings, sensors, gearboxes, pumps, and other machine components.
• Perform machine alignments, calibrations, and adjustments to maintain equipment accuracy and performance.
• Support machine setup, commissioning, and equipment relocation projects.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, repair documentation, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements and company policies.
• Support shipping and receiving machine parts including deliveries and pickup.
• Support with quality checks on finished machine parts.
• Support shop organization and cleanliness.
