Job summary

Adecco Portugal is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support installation, maintenance, and relocation of CNC and manual manufacturing equipment across the facility. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and maintain technical documentation.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, spare parts management, calibration, and basic facility tasks, with a strong focus on safety and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Technical certificate or diploma in maintenance or related field with required experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical documentation.
• Experience with electrical testing and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and relocate CNC and manual equipment across the facility.
• Diagnose using manuals, schematics, and drawings to repair equipment promptly and cost-effectively.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ERP data entry for maintenance supplies.
• Calibrate and adjust machine tools to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Perform basic facility maintenance including plumbing and electrical work.
• Maintain safety and 5S standards in the maintenance area.
