Cardinal Scale Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC production and facility equipment in a standard 40-hour week. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
The role emphasizes safety, predictive maintenance, and adherence to diagrams, manuals and specifications to support site goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED with craft apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
- Four or more years of manufacturing experience; strong CNC, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and maintaining CNC machinery and mechanical equipment following diagrams, manuals, and manufacturer specs using hand-tools and power tools.
- Observe machinery in operation and listen for trouble to locate causes.
- Dismantle machinery to access/replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand-tools and power tools.
- Perform preventative maintenance: lubricate, clean, and inspect units.
