Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Maintenance Technician II at our Decatur, TX facility to provide advanced CNC maintenance and support production goals. The role requires hands-on repair, vendor coordination for reliability, and strong problem-solving across multiple CNC systems.

You will install, relocate, upgrade, and repair equipment, service CNCs (EDM, wire saw, laser engraving, robot loaders), diagnose complex tool issues, and collaborate with OEMs to complete PMs and repairs on time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years machine tool maintenance experience.
• Familiar with Gib and Way Scraping and Turcite installation.
• Knowledge of ball screws, worm gears, transmissions.
• Electrical aptitude with safety circuits, timers, HMIs, etc.
• Preferred knowledge in Fadal, Haas, Mitsubishi, Hardinge, Okamoto and Chevalier.
• Able to climb stairs, lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to comply with export control laws.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, upgrade and repair CNC equipment.
• Service CNCs including EDM, wire saw, laser engraving, robot loaders.
• Self-diagnose and lead repairs of technical machine tool problems.
• Program PLC ladder logic for Fanuc and Mazatrol machinery.
• Coordinate with OEMs for PMs and repairs to meet schedules.
• Prepare maintenance metrics and downtime reports.
• Operate lathe and mill for fabrication and assist operators.
