Job summary

TURBOCAM in Barrington, IL is seeking a motivated technician to assist in maintaining our CNC lathes and milling machines, including Mikron, Haas, and Hermle. You will learn to perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and diagnostics.

The role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, climbing in and out of tight spaces, and joining the On-Call Team with on-call pay.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Pursuing or holding a technical degree in electronics, machining, or related field.
• Willing to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and possess a valid driver’s license; forklift certifiable and able to obtain a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of TURBOCAM machinery, including PM, calibration, diagnosis, and repair.
• Learn and perform troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical problems.
• Rotate as On-Call team member to support operations after hours with on-call pay.
