Job summary

Join TURBOCAM, a leading maker of CNC lathes and milling machines, where you will be primarily responsible for PMs, calibrations, diagnosis and repair of TURBOCAM equipment. The Technician will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems and support the on-call team to keep production running.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a technical degree in electronics or machining, and hands-on experience with machinery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two-year technical degree in electronics, machining or related subjects; related experience accepted.
• Ability to evaluate and repair machinery.
• Electrical and Mechanical knowledge with troubleshooting capabilities.
• Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Epicor maintenance software.
• Valid driver's license; forklift certifiable; able to obtain DOT health card.
• Must pass medical evaluation for respirator use and wear respiratory protection.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and be able to climb in/out of small spaces.
• Full range of motion for stairs, ladders, walking, standing, stooping and crouching.

Responsibilities

• Performing PM's and Calibrations on TURBOCAM machinery.
• Maintaining, diagnosing and repairing TURBOCAM machinery.
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems to the failing component.
• Understanding complex controls.
• Acting as a member on the on call team.
• Performing other duties as necessary.
