Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Aiken, SC is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician for the day shift to monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of advanced machining systems. The role requires hands-on expertise with CNC controls and experience in heavy-duty manufacturing.

You will troubleshoot MTM washing machines, coolant tanks, maintain fluids, coordinate training, and support senior technicians.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance and 5 years of machining maintenance experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment; or completion of apprenticeship or training program and 7 years of machining maintenance technician experience in a heavy-duty manufacturing environment.
Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines.
Advanced knowledge and experience with machine tool control CNC programming applications (Siemens 840D CNC).
Experience with power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists; including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of the machines.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Knoll cooling lubricant tanks and MTM washing machines, including cleaning and refilling as necessary.
Monitor and maintaining machining and facility equipment and associated fluids; monitor bulk Nitrogen; monitor transfer tanks.
Documentation of malfunctions and the measures taken of used spare parts.
Coordinate training and provide coaching to less senior technicians
