Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Aiken, SC is seeking a CNC Machine Maintenance Technician for a mini shift schedule starting at 5:45 AM and ending 6:15 PM, Friday through Sunday. Training in Germany for 4–6 weeks is required.

A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered, with overtime eligibility and relocation support. You will monitor and repair mechanical/electrical components, coolant systems, and MTM washers, while coaching junior technicians and ensuring safety and reliability in a heavy manufacturing

Qualifications

Associate degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance with 5 years of machining maintenance experience, or completion of an apprenticeship with 7 years of experience.
Advanced knowledge of HELLER CNC machines.
Advanced knowledge of CNC programming applications (Siemens 840D).

Responsibilities

Monitor, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of the machines.
Monitor, troubleshoot and repair Knoll cooling lubricant tanks and MTM washing machines, including cleaning and refilling as necessary.
Maintain machining and facility equipment and associated fluids.
Monitor and order bulk Nitrogen.
Monitor and repair transfer tanks.
Document malfunctions and parts used.
Coordinate training and coach less senior technicians.
