Job summary

Bronson & Bratton, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician with at least five years of experience in a high-precision tool and die environment. The role focuses on keeping CNC machining centers and production equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will troubleshoot PLC systems, repair electrical and mechanical components, and perform preventive maintenance from schematics and service manuals. This position is on-site in Illinois in a family-owned shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in CNC machine or industrial maintenance.
• Strong diagnostic capabilities across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read complex schematics and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machining centers, PLC systems, and production machinery.
• Perform system diagnostics to resolve electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and precise machine adjustments.
• Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.

Job description

CNC Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience needed for a family-owned climate-controlled high precision tool & die shop.

Must be proficient in CNC machine repair, industrial maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & Repair: Fix CNC machining centers, PLC systems and production machinery
• System Diagnostics: Resolve electrical, mechanical, PLC systems and production machinery
• Routine Maintenance: Complete scheduled preventative maintenance upkeep and precise machine adjustments
• Technical Blueprints: Read and interpret electrical schematic, wiring diagrams and service manuals

Role Requirements

• Experience: 5 + years in CNC machine or industrial maintenance, PLC systems is a must
• Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic capabilities across mechanical and electrical systems
• Blueprints: Proven ability to read complex schematics and technical documentation
