Job summary

Onward Search is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Sussex, WI to hire a CNC Maintenance Technician on-site. This temp-to-perm role covers first shift (6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) and focuses on reliability of CNC lathes and machining centers, plus general facility maintenance.

You’ll troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with OEMs to resolve complex issues while keeping workmanship safe and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Skilled in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Experience repairing CNC equipment, especially lathes and machining centers.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair CNC lathes and machining centers, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document all activities.
• Conduct machine tear-downs, rebuilds, and electrical rewiring tasks.
