Mazak Corporation is hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician to join our Flexible Manufacturing department. The CNC Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair CNC machines at Mazak Corporation's Headquarters in Florence, KY. This is a second shift position. The hours for this role are M-TH 3:30pm-2am.

Accountability

The CNC Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair CNC machines at Mazak Corporation's Headquarters in Florence, KY. This is a second shift position. The hours for this role are M-TH 3:30pm-2am.

Scope and Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software issues on machines and accessories
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Test machine and accessory operation
• Complete reports on installation, assessments, repairs, and parts used
• Use test equipment like electrical meters, indicators, test bars, and gages for troubleshooting

Education and Certification

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2-year Manufacturing degree or Vocational School preferred

Skills

• Strong electrical background
• Proven mechanical aptitude
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines
• Experience with machine alignments and leveling
• Experience using electrical test equipment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier lifts periodically
• Problem-solving skills

Qualifications
