• 2-year Manufacturing degree or Vocational School is preferred.

Mazak Corporation is hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician to join our Flexible Manufacturing department. The CNC Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair CNC machines at Mazak Corporation's Headquarters in Florence, KY. This is a second shift position. The hours for this role are M-TH 3:30pm-2am.

Accountability

The CNC Maintenance Technician will maintain and repair CNC machines at Mazak Corporation's Headquarters in Florence, KY. This is a second shift position. The hours for this role are M-TH 3:30pm-2am.

Scope and Responsibilities

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Proactively ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software problems on machines and accessories
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks
• Test operation of machines and accessories
• Complete reports documenting installation, assessment of reported problems, repairs completed, and parts installed
• Utilize various test equipment for troubleshooting purposes, including indicators, test bars, clamp force gauges, etc.

Education/Certification

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 2-year Manufacturing degree or Vocational School is preferred

Skills

• Strong electrical background
• Proven mechanical aptitude
• Previous experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines
• Experience with machine alignments and leveling
• Experience with test equipment including electrical meters
• Ability to work in high-pressure situations
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
• Ability to lift heavier loads periodically
• Problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Technical or other training preferred
• High School required
• Strong electrical background preferred
