Job summary

BCI Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance technician in Indiana to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and CNC control issues and perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

You will diagnose failures, repair components, read schematics, and fabricate replacement parts using manual tools. The role requires strong problem-solving, a hands-on approach, and commitment to reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in CNC machining or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with industrial electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience operating manual machining equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred, but hands-on experience matters most.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues.
• Performing preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Diagnosing equipment failures and identifying permanent corrective actions.
• Repairing and rebuilding machine components including spindles, ballscrews, guide rails, pumps, valves, and drive systems.
• Operating manual machine tools to fabricate and modify replacement parts.
• Reading blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Performing precision alignments and machine calibration using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshooting PLCs and CNC controls including Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Okuma, or similar platforms.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Working closely with operators to improve machine performance and prevent recurring failures.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation and a safe work environment.

Requirements

What You Bring

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in CNC machining or manufacturing
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with industrial electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
• Experience operating manual machining equipment
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Technical degree or industrial maintenance certification is helpful, but hands‑on experience matters most
