Job summary

BCI is seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to keep machining operations running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues, perform preventive maintenance, and drive reliability across the shop floor.

You will read blueprints and diagrams, repair critical components, calibrate with precision tools, and document maintenance to support continuous improvement and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining CNC machining equipment and tooling.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Proven track record of preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to root causes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
• Diagnose equipment failures and identify permanent corrective actions
• Repair and rebuild machine components including spindles, ballscrews, guide rails, pumps, valves, and drive systems
• Operate manual machine tools to fabricate/modify replacement parts
• Read blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical documentation
• Perform precision alignments and machine calibration using precision measuring equipment
• Troubleshoot PLCs and CNC controls including Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Okuma, or similar platforms
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and reduce downtime
• Work with operators to improve machine performance and prevent recurring failures
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and a safe work environment

What You'll Do

As our CNC Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our machining operations running safely and efficiently by:
