Job summary

JARP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift (Mon–Thu, 8:00pm–6:00am). The role involves servicing CNC work centers, performing mechanical and some electrical maintenance, and aiding in equipment installation with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree preferred with two years’ work experience in Industrial Maintenance.
• Prior welding and CNC maintenance repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Microsoft products.
• Strong understanding of PLC and CNC controlled equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance on all production equipment and building.
• Perform mechanical and limited electrical work on equipment.
• Install replacement parts and components as needed.
• Perform air compressor maintenance and weekly service requirements.
• Assist in installation of new equipment and moving existing equipment.
• Collaborate with area Team Leaders to minimize downtime.
• Input service data into maintenance tracking system.
• Troubleshoot equipment using wiring diagrams and electrical testing tools.
• Coordinate with EHS Coordinator for OSHA compliance.
• Operate wastewater treatment system within specifications.
• Perform miscellaneous cleaning and maintenance tasks.
