JARP Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift (Mon–Thu, 8:00pm–6:00am). The role involves servicing CNC work centers, performing mechanical and some electrical maintenance, and aiding in equipment installation with minimal supervision.

• Two-year degree preferred with two years’ work experience in Industrial Maintenance.

• Familiarity with Microsoft products.
• Strong understanding of PLC and CNC controlled equipment.

Responsabilidades

About this position

Maintenance Mechanic (3rd Shift, Full-Time)

$22.00–$31.00/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Premium

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00pm–6:00am

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing a wide variety of mechanical tasks, working on CNC work centers, building maintenance, and some electrical maintenance work throughout the facility with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide overall preventative maintenance on all production equipment, machines and overall building as necessary.
• Perform mechanical and limited electrical work on all equipment within the facility within established codes.
• Install replacement parts and components as needed on machinery.
• Perform air compressor preventative maintenance as well as all weekly service requirements.
• Assist in the installation of new equipment as well as moving existing equipment as needed.
• Work in conjunction with area Team Leaders to repair machines that are down ensuring the least amount of downtime and lost production.
• Responsible for service inputting information into the maintenance tracking system.
• Troubleshoot equipment utilizing wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, electrical testing and measuring devices as needed.
• Work in conjunction with EHS Coordinator ensuring JARP’s overall OSHA compliance.
• Responsible to operate wastewater treatment system ensuring it is operating within specifications.
• Perform miscellaneous cleaning, filter changing and overall maintenance tasks.

MARGINAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure good housekeeping practices are in place and are being followed.
• Assist in the development of more efficient manufacturing methods, procedures and equipment.
• Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.
• Locate replacement parts and part numbers as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A two-year degree in a related field with two years’ work experience in the Industrial Maintenance field is preferred.
• Prior welding and CNC maintenance repair experience are also preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical drawings
• Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work positively with individuals both inside and outside of the organization
• Familiarity with computers, specifically Microsoft products
• Strong understanding of PLC and CNC controlled equipment
