Job summary

TSC Consultants Inc. has immediate, high-priority openings for skilled CNC Setup Machinists and CNC Operators across multiple manufacturing facilities in Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

Positions are full-time, permanent, with all shifts available and overtime opportunities. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of hands-on CNC machining experience (Aerospace/Defense a plus), strong GD&T skills, and the ability to read complex blueprints.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on CNC machining or operating experience in a precision manufacturing.
• Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry is a major plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up, align, secure, and operate CNC mills and lathes per engineering specifications.

• Operate machinery with standard controls and maintain quality with precision measurement tools.

Position Summary

We have immediate, high-priority openings for both skilled CNC Setup Machinists and CNC Operators. Due to increased production demands, we are looking for talented individuals across multiple manufacturing facilities throughout Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Positions are open across all shifts to accommodate your schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Setup: Set up, align, secure, and operate advanced metalworking machine tools (Mills and Lathes) based on engineering specifications.
• Blueprint Reading: Evaluate complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T instructions to determine methods and sequences of operations.
• Program Edits: Input, retrieve, and edit computerized machine control media. Perform critical tool changes, offsets, and program adjustments.
• Equipment Familiarity: Successfully operate machinery utilizing standard industry controls (such as Haas, Mazak, Mori-Seiki, or Okuma).
• Quality Control: Utilize precision gauges, micrometers, and calipers to perform in-process inspections, ensuring all parts strictly conform to strict aerospace specifications.
• Preventative Maintenance: Learn and practice routine preventative maintenance on machinery and tooling to protect equipment from damage and optimize performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on CNC machining or operating experience in a precision manufacturing environment (Aerospace or Defense industry background is a major plus).
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, mathematical skills, and the ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Core Competencies: A stellar attendance record, an exceptional eye for detail, and a strict commitment to workplace safety guidelines.
