Job summary

Hydrasearch, a U.S. manufacturer and affiliate of The Dixon Group, seeks an experienced CNC Machinist in Stevensville, MD to optimize CNC equipment and code journals for both vertical and horizontal mills. You will work with the Quality Department to ensure AS9100D compliance and improve setup efficiency.

Responsibilities include setup, operation, and monitoring of mills, plus documentation, safety, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years CNC setup and operation experience on vertical and horizontal mills.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up and operate vertical and horizontal CNC mills.
• Load and adjust programs, parameters, and run production cycles.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean.
• Maintain production logs, including parts produced, materials used, and QC results.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety policies.
