Hydrasearch is a U.S. manufacturer of fluid-transfer and control systems for maritime, aerospace, and defense applications, seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our Stevensville, MD team.

The role focuses on optimizing CNC equipment, including vertical and horizontal mills, refining G and M code, and creating setup sheets for new jobs in collaboration with Quality. You will operate and set up CNC mills, load programs, monitor production, inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, and

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: 3–5 years in CNC Setup and Operation on vertical and horizontal milling centers.
• Technical: Proficient in reading complex blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: safely set up and operate CNC mills (vertical and horizontal).
• Operation & Monitoring: load programs, set speeds/feeds, run production cycles, adjust for quality.
• Quality Control: inspect finished parts with calipers and micrometers.
• Maintenance: perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Documentation: maintain production logs (parts produced, materials used, quality checks).
• Safety: follow PPE and safety policies.
