Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Plainville, CT, is seeking a CNC Machinist (Turn/Mill) to operate Okuma CNC milling and turning machines on first shift. You will set up, edit programs, and adjust tooling to meet blueprint specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a willingness to work in a cell environment. The position is 100% on site, with overtime possible; standard hours 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs set-ups and operates Okuma CNC mill & turn machines and related equipment.
• Makes edits and adjustments to meet blueprints/specifications.
• Operates multiple machines in a cellular environment.
• Reads feeds/speeds, selects and applies cutting tools.
• Inspects features and maintains paperwork per policy.
• Maintains area and tooling; supports new operators.
