Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace seeks a Machinist I for 1st or 2nd shift in South Windsor, CT. You will operate CNC mills, perform set-ups, and edit programs to meet blueprints. The role requires attention to detail, paperwork accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple machines in a cell.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years machinist experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship.
• Able to work under ITAR/EAR regulations.
• Able to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC milling machines under supervision.
• Performs set-ups and edits to meet work orders and blueprints.
• Works with multiple machines in a cellular environment.
• Applies feeds, speeds and tool knowledge to cut parts.
• Inspects dimensional features and records paperwork accurately.
• Maintains area, tooling, and coolant systems.
• Assists new operators and adheres to safety and housekeeping rules.
