Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Machinist Training & Development Coordinator to design and manage a structured program guiding new and developing machinists from onboarding through demonstrated competency, independent operation, setup and cross-training.

You will work with Operations, experienced machinists, supervisors and HR to ensure effective instruction, hands-on practice, coaching and objective evaluations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience training, coaching, or developing machinists or other manufacturing employees.
• Prior hands-on experience as a CNC machinist with proficiency in machine operation, tooling, blueprint reading, measurement and inspection.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the training program framework, objectives, competency levels, checklists and certification requirements.
• Coordinate hands-on training, assess and certify skills after employees demonstrate safe, independent production of conforming parts.
• Monitor progression, provide coaching, and update the program as business needs change.
