Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• 2+ years of Machining/Tool & Die experience; CNC mill/lathe programming preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with AutoCAD for blueprints reading/editing.
• Proficient with micrometers and calipers.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to repair/maintain equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, and other machine shop equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on drives, motors, belts, fluids, and filters.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Prepare bills of material, specifications, and work orders.
