Job summary

Precinmac is seeking CNC Lathe Machinists for its Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin, Oregon. This on-site role offers multiple shifts with a 10% differential for swing schedule and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, life, disability, and a 401(k) with company match.

Applicants must read drawings, set up machines, run first parts, and adjust programs while maintaining tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with micrometers and calipers for inspection.
• Capable of setting up jobs and running first part.
• Ability to adjust programs if required and maintain decimals.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings for CNC lathe work.
• Start, monitor, and observe machine operations.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors.
• Process offset changes unassisted.
• Inspect parts using micrometers/calipers and ensure conformance.
• Operate lathes including Mori Seiki, Hitachi Seiki, Nakamura Tome, Haas TL-2, and manual lathes.
