Job summary

PrideStaff (Portland) is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator in Portland, OR. You will set up, program, and operate CNC lathes, interpreting blueprints and applying precise measurements to produce high-quality parts.

Proficiency with Fanuc controls, Doosan Puma 2600 SY2, and CNC interfaces is preferred. This role requires the ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and communicate in English for safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent, consecutive CNC Lathe experience (setup and operation).
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and CNC interfaces.
• Must lift/move heavy materials and stand for long periods.
• English literacy for workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes/mills per job specs.
• Read blueprints and determine machining processes.
• Input and adjust programs using Fanuc controls.
• Inspect parts with micrometers/calipers to ensure specs.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and production records.
