Job summary

JGM in Coatesville is seeking experienced Machine Operators to run production equipment in a steel fabrication shop. The role involves operating CNC equipment, press brakes, saws, and related machinery to fabricate steel components to spec.

Candidates should have 2+ years in manufacturing or high-volume production, be comfortable in a non-climate-controlled shop, and read basic blueprints. OSHA 10 certification is required or available during onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience required (3+ preferred).
• Experience with CNC machines, punches, shears, or comparable industrial machinery.
• Ability to read basic blueprints, work orders, or production specs, or willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and monitor quality to spec.
• Load, unload, and stage raw steel and finished components safely.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Complete production logs, quality checks, and downtime/scrap tracking accurately.
• Work closely with operators, fitters, welders, and shop leadership to keep the line safe and efficient.
