Job summary

Steel Tech Enterprises is seeking a dedicated CNC operator to set up, run, and inspect parts per blueprints in a manufacturing setting. You will read blueprints, select tooling, and perform quality checks to ensure precision and conformance to specifications.

The role requires basic math, ability to use measuring tools, and a willingness to learn in a safety-focused environment with PPE provided. Overtime opportunities may be available depending on production needs.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and be trained on machine operator related tasks.
• General skills with hand and air tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read different measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC machine and change tooling as needed.
• Perform quality checks using approved tools to ensure blueprint accuracy.
• Inform supervisor of equipment-related problems affecting part quality.
• Clock jobs and parts accurately and follow shop documents and manuals.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safe working habits at all times.
• Wear required PPE and keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
