Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking skilled machinists to set up, operate, and maintain world‑class CNC machines to fabricate components for spaceflight systems. You will contribute to first article success and tight‑tolerance parts across the Turbo Machinery value stream for BE‑7 engines.

This role requires 5+ years of CNC machining, multi‑axis experience, and familiarity with Fanuc or Siemens controls, with cam programming preferred. Relocation is provided and shifts are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• 2+ years' experience with multi-axis machines.
• OR - 15+ Years Manual/Tool and Die.
• Cam programming experience highly preferred.
• Experience with Mazak, Hass, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, Hermle, G+F and/or Okuma.
• Working knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, OSP or other CNC controls.
• Excellent blue print reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.
• Familiar with use of personal computers.
• Ability to provide Design for Manufacturing feedback.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, stairs, work in small/restricted areas, and lift and carry 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain CNC machines to fabricate components for spaceflight systems.
• Share in the team's impact on CNC machining and fabrication across Blue Origin's Turbo Machinery value stream.
• Produce accurate components enabling first article success on tight tolerance, high value parts.
