Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a CNC Machinist for the D Shift to operate multi-axis lathes and mills, program Agie Charmilles EDM machines, and interpret engineering drawings to meet tight tolerances.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with trade school experience and knowledge of CNC controls (Okuma, Fanuc) and GD&T. Candidates should be prepared for a hands-on, safety-focused environment at Blue Origin's aerospace facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus trade school degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with CNC or EDM machining.
• Proficiency with offline CNC programming software and various CNC controls (Okuma, Fanuc, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including multi-axis lathes and mills to produce precision parts.
• Program and set up Agie Charmilles EDM machines and interpret engineering drawings to meet tolerances.
• Read blueprints and GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994; document and standardize production processes.
• Collaborate with engineering to transition from development to production and drive continuous improvement.
