Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking skilled machinists in Huntsville to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment fabricating components for spaceflight systems. You will work with state-of-the-art machines to achieve first article success on tight tolerance parts and contribute to a culture of safety and quality.

The role requires 3+ years CNC experience, familiarity with super alloys, and knowledge of controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience.
• 2+ years working with super alloys and hardened metals.
• Experience with CNC machines: Mazak, Hass, DMG Mori, Mori Seiki, or Okuma.
• Working knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol, or equivalent.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to fabricate components for spaceflight systems.
• Produce accurate components enabling first article success on tight tolerances and high value parts.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
