Prince Industries LLC in the Tampa area is seeking a skilled CNC machinist for the 2nd shift to operate twin spindle/twin turret turning centers on precision metal parts for aerospace applications. You will read blueprints, set up, and run Fanuc-controlled machines, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances through inspection and documentation.

The role requires routine maintenance, adherence to safety procedures, and willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines in a quality-driven environment.

JOB SUMMARY

Manufacturing Precision Metal Products on CNC Turning Centers. Qualified to operate Twin Spindle / Twin Turret machines manufactured by Eurotech and Mori Seiki. Machining metallic and nonmetallic workpieces for the Aerospace Industry by performing the following duties.

2nd Shift Hours

3:30pm - 12:00am, Monday - Friday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret process plans, and blueprints to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, and operating requirements.
• Utilizes various types of inspection instruments to check work per print.
• Completes necessary job-related paperwork to include part identification, inspection documents, and production log.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance: proper coolant levels, filters, fan operation, cleans machine, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 2 Years - Setup and Operating Twin Spindle / Twin Turret
• 2 Years - Precision CNC Machining
• Experience with Fanuc Controls
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8 hours.
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
• Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work.
• Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed.
• Understands and observes all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately in noisy environments.
• Must also have close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus and judge depth. Color vision is required as well.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
