Manufacturing precision metal products on CNC turning centers. Qualified to operate twin spindle / twin turret machines manufactured by Eurotech and Mori Seiki. Machining metallic and nonmetallic workpieces for the aerospace industry by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret process plans and blueprints to determine necessary machining, dimensional specifications, and operating requirements
- Utilize various types of inspection instruments to check work per print
- Complete necessary job-related paperwork, including part identification, inspection documents, and production log
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 Years - Setup and Operating Twin Spindle / Twin Turret
- 2 Years - Precision CNC Machining
- Experience with Fanuc Controls
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Regularly required to stand and reach during the shift (8 hours)
- Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend
- Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycles work
- Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime to meet tight deadlines
- Understanding and observance of all safety procedures (safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc.) as designated in the work area
COMPENSATION
Pay Rate: $26 - $32 per hour
