Job summary

Reliable Equipment MFG Co. in Warminster is seeking a full-time Machinist / Machine Setup Operator to join a growing team serving the Power and Utility industry.

The role involves setting up and running CNC milling jobs on vertical and horizontal centers and interpreting technical drawings and work orders. You will inspect and optimize processes, perform first article inspections, and maintain tooling life while coordinating with other operators to maximize productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Vo-tech preferred.
• Experience with machine tools and equipment.
• Mechanical or technical background.
• Professional knowledge of safety protocols.
• 3+ years operating CNC and setup.
• Horizontal machining experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Programming in NC Code.
• Strong sense in MFG design and work-holding.
• Excellent knowledge of material properties.
• Must be reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Attentive to detail.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC milling jobs on vertical and horizontal centers.
• Minimize costs and time while producing quality parts to prints and tolerances.
• Operate multiple machine tools in coordination with others to maximize productivity.
• Interpret drawings and work orders per standards; document production.
• Inspect first articles and monitor tooling life and equipment performance.
• Deburr, clean, and prepare parts for the next operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance and cleanup of equipment and facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
