Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Program & Set Up Machine role in Lenexa, Kansas. The incumbent will set up machining centers, develop routing and machine code using MasterCam, Vericut and Solidworks, and troubleshoot issues to keep production on schedule.

Responsibilities include maintaining tool inventory, following SOPs and TMDR procedures, and collaborating with peers and supervisors to implement continuous improvement and best practices across tooling and processes.

Formación

• Set up machining centers per standard work instructions (Routing) and SOPs as trained.
• Troubleshoot program and machining problems and advise as necessary.
• Document and maintain tool inventory.
• Follow TMDR procedures for changes and decommission machines as required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop project documentation (Routing) and machine code using MasterCam, Vericut, Solidworks and Microsoft Office.
• Manage production schedules with peers and communicate with supervisors when directions are unclear.
• Inspect tooling for wear and maintain tool crib organization and cleanliness.
• Load parts on machines and perform in-process inspections to verify tolerances.
• Work with management on continuous improvement, best practices, and tooling.
