Position type: Hourly

Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is hiring CNC Machinists, from setup to operation, producing parts, selecting tools from different resources. They're tasked with monitoring machinery, inspecting finished products, and leading test runs or first runs of new programs.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Set up machine using known practices and procedures to ensure product will meet specifications and avoid tooling issues or machine crash.
• Retrieve tooling and fixtures as noted in program.
• Ability to retrieve CNC program from MTTM directory as applies to the part/job operation to set up. Load on machine to set up.
• Edit CNC programs as necessary based on conditions of product supplied or tooling being used.
• Review all documentation to make sure revisions match and communicate to supervisor, team lead, or engineering if there is a concern.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of CNC Setup Operator experience.
• Related machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Completion of the following education:
  • Zeiss Calypso Basic CMM Programming or equivalent
  • Print Reading & Tolerances (gdandtbasics.com) or equivalent
  • GD & T Fundamentals (gdandtbasics.com) or equivalent.
• NMIS certifications for machine technologies or equivalent education. Prefer Technical school education or associates in machining technologies - Preferred.
