Job summary

Protolabs in Nashua, NH is seeking a CNC Machinist for the second shift (Mon–Fri, 3pm–11pm). You will set up CNC milling/lathe operations, program machines using Mastercam, and complete parts to tight tolerances with attention to quality and safety.

The role requires blueprint reading, measurement by calipers and height gauges, and a proactive, team-oriented approach in a fast-paced prototype manufacturing environment. Protolabs offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a CNC Milling or CNC Lathe Machinist preferred.
• Knowledge of prototype manufacturing machining.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks, Mastercam, CAD/CAM and Office tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC milling or lathe machines and run jobs meeting tight specs.
• Prepare CAM files from CAD data, prints, and instructions.
• Ensure timely, accurate production and on-time delivery.
• Maintain organized job and material inventory.
• Perform machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Inspect parts to ensure quality and conformity to drawings.
