Job summary

Emerson Electric Co. in Pasadena, TX is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer for 2nd shift to manufacture valve components for oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and aerospace. You will develop and edit CNC programs, machine to OEM specs, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role offers a 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) with base pay plus a $1.00 shift differential, and overtime opportunities. Proficiency with G-code and multiple CNC machines is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, indicate, and machine raw material to OEM print dimensions.
• Develop and edit CNC programs using G-code and other languages.
• Verify program accuracy and troubleshoot programming issues.
• Cross-train on multiple machines to maintain production flow.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
