CNC Machinist/Programmer - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Join a family-owned machine shop with a long-standing, stable history, offering a collaborative and welcoming atmosphere. We are hiring experienced CNC Machinists/Programmers for shifts in Menomonee Falls, with shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts (3-11 PM and 11-7 AM).

Position Details

• Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $35.00/hr, depending on experience
• Overtime available
• Training on first shift available
• Health care and 401K benefits

Minimum Qualifications

• 5-7 years of machinist experience
• Strong mathematical skills, including geometric, algebraic, and trigonometric calculations
• Accredited apprenticeship or equivalent training, with substantial experience in machine shop practices and CNC programming
• Ability to perform metric conversions
• Proficient in reading blueprints, specifications, and routings
• Experience with G&M code; conversational controls are a plus
• Ability to calculate feeds and speeds and understand geometric tolerancing

Responsibilities

• Design and develop accurate CNC programs efficiently
• Set up, check, and operate CNC machines for complex machining tasks
• Interpret program formats and fixturing, and perform manual cycles to verify setups
• Adjust machines to meet specifications and troubleshoot issues
• Work from detailed drawings and specifications
• May instruct lower-classification operators and recommend tooling
