Job summary

Microwave Techniques, located in Gorham, Maine, seeks an experienced CNC Machinist for either first or second shift. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of CNC machining experience and the ability to read blueprints, select tooling, and operate precision equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as CNC Machinist
• Knowledge of materials, production processes, and quality control
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and perform routine maintenance
• Set up and adjust tools and equipment for precision machining
• Select tooling and parts for each job
• Upload and download programs into CNC equipment per specifications
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and programmers
• Ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments
• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment
