Microwave Techniques in Gorham, ME is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up and operate lathes per blueprint specifications, selecting fixtures and tools for precise parts.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC lathe experience, GD&T knowledge, safe operation, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; full-time days 6:00am-2:30pm with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Our Components Division, located in Gorham, Maine is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist.

Full-Time First Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes according to blueprint specification
• Selects the appropriate fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
• Verifies dimensions and tolerances of finished products using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Modifies speeds and feeds based on product and material
• Makes minor programming changes as appropriate
• Maintains strong communication and documentation
