Qualifications

• Proficient with micrometers, depth micrometers, and height gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional and special-purpose machines to fabricate metallic parts.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Select and secure fixtures and tools; adjust speeds, feeds, and depths for cutting operations.
• Monitor machining processes and measure parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain safe operations and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
